Cornerstone Christian Church partnered with the Christian Activity Center (CAC) to give gifts to kids this Christmas season. The church said it will accept gifts until Sunday, Dec. 11.
Give a Gift
Cornerstone Christian Church announced details of its Give a Gift for CAC through its website. It extended gratitude to everyone who participated in the program.
The church suggested that every gift must be worth around $40.
Cornerstone Christian Church also announced that some gifts on the list might cost over $40. It also appreciates all for committing to whichever gift works for one’s family’s budget.
The church requested all to return unwrapped gifts to Cornerstone’s Shiloh Campus no later than Sunday, Dec.11.
Giving a Gift for CAC will provide every child with three different gifts. As shared on the website, this effort will try to provide the kids with a couple of needs and at least one fun item or special wish.
Cornerstone Christian Church reminded all to write the child’s code on the box or bag. According to the church, this will ensure that it can give the correct present to the proper child. Those who want to participate to Give a Gift for CAC may also shop online.
They could have the gifts delivered to the church. Cornerstone Christian Church requested all to include the kid’s number code in the Name Line. All could drop off the donations to Cornerstone Campus during any weekend and midweek service, Monday-Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The church also provided details about the Give a Gift for CAC outreach on its Facebook page.
Christian Activity Center
As per its website, CAC's mission is to empower the youth of East St. Louis for successful futures; spiritually, academically, and physically. It is classified as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. It exists through the generosity and prayerful giving of others.
There are various ways to help CAC. One can make a tax-deductible donation both online and offline. Another option is to shop with Amazon Smile. Volunteer opportunities are also available at CAC. One may volunteer to tutor kids at CAC.
They advised those interested in supporting CAC that they may also help by donating $1,000.
The organization would use this donation to send 10 kids to a week-long summer camp in Вranson and Ironton, Missouri. A $ 1,500 donation can provide small one-on-one group tutoring.
