Epiphany United Church of Christ hosts fundraising concert

Epiphany United Church of Christ organized a series of fundraising concerts. The latest concert was held on Saturday, Sept. 24, at 5:30 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the church's outreach and ministries. 

In the Neighborhood

Epiphany United Church of Christ announced its concert series through its Facebook page. The concert on Saturday, Sept. 24, featured Home Remedy, a folk-pop duo. 

The church welcomed all to the free concert. Still, Epiphany United Church of Christ accepted voluntary offerings during its" In the Neighborhood, Epiphany Concert Series."

The church invited all to experience live music and a chance to win raffle prizes. Epiphany United Church of Christ reminded everyone that 2 Girls 4 Wheels Food Truck would be at the event. 

It expressed its appreciation for donations during the concert. The church also encouraged all to wear masks indoors. 

Home Remedy also announced their upcoming performance in this concert series. The duo provided details through their Facebook page. It is the harmony of Cindy Minnis and Melinda Monroe.

Home Remedy is two altos with a keyboard, guitar, and percussion. They perform original and covered music. They are a musician or bands in St. Louis. 

About Epiphany United Church of Christ

According to its website, the congregation engaged in various worship styles, prayer, reflection, and education. Epiphany's worship style is informal. All are welcome to come as they are. 

It provides a combination of contemporary and traditional elements. Epiphany United Church of Christ celebrates the Holy Communion every first and third Sunday of the month. 

The church welcomes all to partake in the sacrament with them. Epiphany UCC provides nursery care for preschoolers during worship. Nonetheless, kids are welcome to stay during the worship service if the parents prefer it.

The church organized Seekers Classes for people considering becoming members at Epiphany UCC. The pastor holds classes in four sessions.

Seekers Classes allow the seekers to connect with other newcomers and learn more about Epiphany's history, mission, and organization. 

Seekers Classes are also avenues to explore the United Church of Christ denomination. These meetings are opportunities to learn how to get involved and help shape the congregation's mission.
