The women of Faith Oakville Church will join the IF Gathering Women’s Conference 2023 from Friday to Saturday, March 3 to 4.
The church’s website noted that the gathering was designed to train women with gospel-focused tools and community. They explained that this fellowship is an opportunity to help ladies disciple other women in their neighborhood and work.
Worldwide Gathering
The website revealed that more than 2,240 local groups from 50 states and 24 nations would gather through Livestream. They added they would worship to witness God move through their speakers, breakout sessions, and music for two days.
Meanwhile, the church encouraged female members to shop at the Monarch Pop-Up Boutique throughout the event. They stated they worked with Crisis Aid International, which makes artistic jewelry and accessories.
As further mentioned, Crisis Aid International has a unique way of participating in the war against modern-day sex slavery. They emphasized that they are committed to raising awareness and budget for survivors in the fight against sex trafficking.
Watching God Move
The IF Gathering website revealed they desperately desire to remain faithful in these seasons. They emphasized that IF:2023 depends on them because they would gather and remember that God is what they need during the two-day event.
Moreover, the website stressed that God would provide for their needs. They said that they would meet to worship with their Bibles and pray to God for Him to move.
They informed those interested women to gather in their homes, local churches, or college campuses God together.
In addition, the same website revealed numerous speakers to inspire the participants. These messengers include Layla de la Garza, Jada Edwards, Davy Flowers, and more.
Breakout Sessions: Coping up
One of the topics that they would have during their breakout sessions is for those struggling with hard drugs and alcohol.
They mentioned that Cheryl Luke would help the ladies discover how little habits and ways of healing could keep them from a deeper relationship with Jesus and how God built them to live.
As further explained, some coping ways are acceptable in the culture, such as drinking a few glasses of wine or gossiping with friends. But, these activities may slowly drift away from holiness and faithfulness.
Breakout Sessions: Resilient Life
Meanwhile, Rebekah Lyons would lead another breakout session about becoming resilient amidst the trials, adversity, and anxiety they face.
The website highlighted that Lyons believes that women could become strong by not deciding to move past the pain as fast as possible but embracing it.
In addition, the website invites women to join Lyons and find a way to establish a way to build their resilient life and experience God’s peace beyond understanding. They added that women would have hope beyond the present, strength, and happiness they never even knew they had.
Breakout Sessions: Healthy Marriage
According to the website, Pastors Earl and Oneka McClellan would lead the Choosing A Healthy Marriage breakout session. They would discuss how women could manage everything amidst the craziness and brokenness of life.
More importantly, the pastors would teach some of the essential principles and practices of marriage to help them thrive.
