FBC St. John informed the public about building a library in memory of a pastor. It aims to provide high-quality, theologically robust resources for the church.

Joshua Clutterham Memorial Library

FBC St. John announced that it is building a new library in honor of its late pastor, Joshua Clutterham. The church shared details about the library through its Facebook page

The church provided a link for anyone who wants to give books or donations to The Joshua Clutterham Memorial Library. Moreover, it provided a section on its website specifically for the library.

The website stated that the library is dedicated to Pastor Joshua Clutterham, a true pastor-theologian. FBC St. John provided a link to learn more about Clutterham’s s life and legacy.

Clutterham was regarded as a teacher, mentor, supervisor, an example, and a dear friend in a tribute written for him. The First Baptist Church of St. John housed The Joshua Clutterham Memorial Library.

It envisions the place to be different from the stereotypical church library.

According to FBC St. John, the library is aimed to produce commentaries and other resources accessible to the rest of the church.

It gave two ways how to support the library. The first way is by donating or purchasing books for the library from the wish list it provided.

As shared on the website, FBC St. John will accept commentaries and that these do not need to be brand new, as long as they are in excellent condition. It also informed everyone that it could arrange for local books for pick up.

Nonetheless, if one is sending books via mail, one can send them to the church’s address at FBC St. John, 8655 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Louis, MO 63114.

Another way to help with the Joshua Clutterham Memorial Library is by giving designated funds so the church can make its purchases.

FBC St. John shared a donate button on its website.

The button will lead anyone who wants to contribute to Tithley through the church’s giving platform. The churh said donors must specify the Church Library and donate any amount they are willing to give.
