First Christian Church of Belleville to hold

First Christian Church of Belleville (FCCB) prepares for Rocky Railway on Aug. 1–5, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Registration for this Vacation Bible School starts on May 1 and will end on July 18. The church encourages kids from three years old to sixth graders to join Rocky Railway, Vacation Bible School.

Rocky Railway, Vacation Bible School

As announced on its website, it’s time to sign up for this year’s Vacation Bible School. The First Christian Church of Belleville pastor is happy to announce this news.

As stated in the announcement, this year’s Vacation Bible School team is Rocky Railway. It welcomes all ages, three years, and those entering the sixth grade.

The church reminded parents that kids as young as three are allowed to join only if they are potty trained already. According to the announcement, everyone may notice that things at Rocky Railway Vacation Bible School are slightly different from their expectations.

Groups for this year’s Vacation Bible School will have various ages. Each group will be called "Crews," and they will each have a Crew Leader. Rocky Railway Vacation Bible School will run from Aug. 1 until Aug. 5.

Each night will start at 6 p.m. and will end at 8:30 p.m. The kids will learn more great Bible lessons. Additionally, they will enjoy games and snacks and learn arts and crafts. Pastor Ben encouraged parents to contact him personally if they have questions or want to know more about Rocky Railway Vacation Bible School.

Registration started May 1 and will continue until July 18. First Christian Church of Belleville will not accept “walk-ins" for this event. This no “walk-in” policy is implemented to ensure that FCCB can provide the best possible VBS experience.

Through the registration, the church can have an accurate count of attendees during the preparation.

Spaghetti Dinner at FCCB

According to Facebook, the First Christian Church of Belleville had its Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser last June 10 at 6 p.m. The reservation for eight people per table was $200. At the same time, individuals paid $25 per seat.

The church encouraged donations for those who could not attend the event. Reservations were welcomed at the church’s office. The youth at FCCB hosted this event.

The First Christian Church of Belleville extended its gratitude to all who supported its Spaghetti Dinner party. According to an update on Facebook, the organizers transformed the activity center into a beautiful restaurant.

There was special lighting, music, table decorations, and a chocolate fondue fountain. The youth welcomed their guests at the door, guided them to their tables, took their drink orders, and served the guests their meal of breadsticks, salad, and spaghetti. That evening was a huge success.

The Sunday schedule includes children's and adult Bible studies from 9 a.m. until 9:50 a.m., worship from 10 a.m. until 11:15 a.m., and Youth Group meets from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
