With its passion for bringing the love of Christ to Haiti, Grace Church, East Campus continues with its mission to help uplift lives in one of the world's poorest nations. It encourages its congregation to help in this great cause. It provides various means to give support in their ongoing efforts in Haiti.

Grace Church East Campus, Haiti Mission Team

As this church's webpage shared, in 2003, Grace Church started its Haiti Mission Team with two adults and a small group of teenagers. They worked with one orphanage, caring for 100 children.

Then, in 2016, the plan was to send six teams of more than 90 individuals to help more than 1,000 children.

Since then, the Grace Church, East Campus Haiti Mission Team has grown yearly. This growth allows the church to help more ministries in Haiti.

The Haiti Mission Team focuses on various ministries in Haiti. It supports kids in orphanages and schools. Moreover, it answers medical needs and engages in building projects.

The mission is engaged in all-year-round planning and fundraising. These efforts help with the feeding program and provide clothing, shoes, school supplies, and personal/medical care all year.

The church's targets are to reach as many as possible, raise $200,000.00, and collect supplies. According to its website, the team passionately shares the Lord's love while providing food and basic supplies.

Grace Church, East Campus provides three ways for everyone who wants to help with this ministry. First is by praying for the safety of the mission teams and the ministry of the Holy Spirit as the group becomes agents delivering the love of God to Haiti.

Another way is by donating supplies that schools and orphanages need. Lastly, everyone can give financially to help cover the overall costs of the ministry or give financially in support of the individual teams.

Some supplies needed for Haiti are backpacks, peanut butter, children's chewable vitamins (not gummies), pens and pencils, soccer balls, and pain relievers for kids and adults.
