Gracelife Chapel will hold a clean-up drive for the community. called "Adopt-A-Highway" on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. The church invited all its members to participate in the event.

Adopt-A-Highway

As shared on its events page, Gracelife Chapel organized a Serve Team to clean up the community.

It encouraged all 13-year-olds and above to join Adopt-A-Highway. The church required a minimum age of 13 for joining the activity.

The clean-up drive is a regular activity at the church that happens quarterly on a Saturday at 8:30 a.m.

A link for registration was provided on the church's website.

Gracelife Chapel expressed its excitement about cleaning up the community through the clean-up drive.

Volunteers will gather at Gracelife Chapel's DeSoto or JeffCo locations for its Team Touchdown. Next, the Serve Team will go together to the clean-up site.

Gracelife Chapel requested everyone to wear their red Gracelife Chapel Serve shirt if they have one. Nonetheless, if volunteers don't have one, the church will get them one.

Gracelife Chapel also recommends that everyone wear a hat, heavy work gloves, and protective shoes. Still, it will provide gloves and other clean-up supplies.

Adopt-A-Highway is among the Gracelife Chapel's outreach ministries.

Water Baptisms

Gracelife Chapel will have water baptisms on the same date, Sept. 10. The church conducts baptisms in all weekend gatherings.

The next schedule for water baptism is on Sunday, Sept. 11.

According to Gracelife Chapel, water baptism is a way for believers to express how the Lord transformed their hearts and lives publicly. Baptism in water makes one identify themselves with Christ.

Baptisms are conducted a few times yearly at both Gracelife Chapel's campuses.

It encouraged families and friends to attend and celebrate this significant event in one's Christian life.

Food Bank

On Thursday, Sept. 8, Gracelife Chapel will hold the Food Bank distribution at the JeffCo location. The church partners with the St. Louis Food Bank Mobile Market.

Together, they provide fresh groceries to families each week. The food distribution will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 6 p.m. at the church.
