Lead Pastor Paul Wingfield gave a sermon about divorce not being an option on Jan. 30 as a part of the ongoing sermon series, “Family is Everything”.
Divorce is not an option
One can view the official recordings of the sermon on the official website of White Flag Christian Church. “Divorce is not an option” is week 4 of the series “Family is Everything” by Pastor Paul.
Pastor Paul mentioned in his sermon that there are a lot of people who are looking at marriage as a contract rather than a covenant. According to Pastor Paul, those who are looking at it as a contract is only after the happiness and excitement of the marriage– and those kind of marriages are most likely to fall off.
As stated by Pastor Paul, divorce is never a part of the plan of Christ in marriage. He mentions that divorce pulls apart what God has put together. This specific sermon, according to him will serve as a reminder of how important it is to fight for one’s marriage as this is what God would want people to do.
