Pathfinder Church will lead a prayer walk called "2022 Neighborhood Walk Weekend" for the community on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 3 and 4. Through the event, the church's members and leaders would ask for the Lord’s favor and blessing on their neighborhoods.

2022 Neighborhood Walk Weekend

Pathfinder Church invited its members to join its annual Neighborhood Walk Weekend. It provides details about it through the church’s website

Neighborhood Walk Weekend will take place on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 3 and 4. Pathfinder Church reminded its congregation that it has no in-person services this weekend.

Instead, it wanted everyone to stay in their neighborhoods and watch its services from their devices. Then, all are asked to go “pray walking” around the streets, communities, and establishments and pray for what they see.

Pathfinder Church also reminds its members that the service will be on Saturday, Sept. 3, at 9 in the morning. It also gives links to the streaming service Guide to Prayer Walking and Kids Prayer Walk Activity.

The church also announced about this neighborhood walk through its Facebook page.

Support Group

As shared on its calendar, Parents of Addicted Loved-Ones (PAL), will have its first meeting this month on Sept. 12 at the church. It will be from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.

PAL is a support group at Pathfinder Church. It is a team of parents helping other parents. PAL meets each week.

It offers education and support to parents who have a child battling addiction. The group also caters to individuals who have partners facing addiction issues.

PAL welcomes parents and spouses. Still, it invites all other sober family members and friends ages 18 and over to the meetings.

Cancer Companions

Cancer Companions is another group at Pathfinders Church that supports those experiencing life challenges. The group will meet on Sept. 13 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

It will take place in Room 250 of the church.

According to Pathfinder Church, cancer treatments can physically take a toll on patients. Setting aside and managing fear and despair can be depressing.

Cancer Companions are trained volunteers. They support individuals in treatment for this disease and post-treatment.

It also help families or caregivers of cancer patients in one-on-one sessions or groups.
