Skyline Church to hold brunch in honor of veterans

Skyline Church will host a brunch on Saturday, Nov. 12, in honor of the veterans' service. The church invited all veterans to the gathering, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Skyline Church informed everyone about a brunch for Veterans Day with the theme: "Skyline Church Operation Homefront" as announced through its Facebook page

The event will honor all veterans after Veterans Day.

Skyline Church said it will welcome all military friends and their families to Veterans Day Brunch. 

There will be food, hayrides, face painting, crafts, and games at Veterans Day Brunch. 

About Skyline Church 

According to its Facebook page, Skyline Church is located at 870 Milburn School Rd., O'Fallon. Worship services happen on Sundays at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. 

Skyline Church offers modern worship, relevant teaching, and exciting Kids' programs. 

As shared on its website, the church exists to engage people, connect to Christ, and empower them to serve.

The church believes a church should exist beyond the walls of a building because a church is so much more.  A church is God moving through people as they gather to share and deliver His love for humanity.

Skyline Church said it welcomes all to visit the church and come as they are. It is recommended to arrive 10-15 minutes before the service begins. 

It offers childcare during both services. Service lasts approximately 75 minutes. Each service begins by praising the Lord through music and song. 

The campus pastor shares a message for encouragement and to challenge everyone in their faith journey, while the last part of the service is a moment of prayer before the congregation is dismissed. 

Jeffrey Roth serves as the Senior Pastor at Skyline Church, while Dennis Wagner serves as the Executive Pastor.

At the same time, Chris Habermehl serves as Worship Pastor. 

On the other hand, Tim Ranz, Tim Wilkinson, and Will Byrd are the elders of this congregation. 

Skyline Church believes only one true, living, and eternal God exists and the the Lord is revealed as the Trinity-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 

Furthermore, it believes the Old and New Testaments are God's inspired and infallible Word. These scriptures provide the only reliable guide to Christian faith and conduct.

Skyline Church believes that the Lord created humanity in His image to bring Him honor through obedience. Moreover, the church believes that all can experience salvation through repentance and faith in Christ.

Community Groups at Skyline Church were claimed to be designed to help everyone establish relationships, experience growth, and empower all to live and serve others better. 

The church believes that everyone from engaging in group life. It is essential to attend service. Most importantly, real growth and life changes happen when everyone walks in a genuine community with others. 

Community Groups discuss the message from Sunday worship service. Skyline Church encouraged all interested in joining Community Groups to contact the church for questions.
