St. Nicholas O'Fallon announced that all registered parishioners would receive lottery tickets. It provided details through its Facebook page.
The church's project for this year is "The Kneel Appeal." All proceeds from the lottery will help fund the purchase of the replacement of the foam cushion in the kneelers.
St. Nicholas O'Fallon advised those new to the church and who would like to know more about how the lottery works to call the Parish Office.
The church stated that it would be more than happy to answer questions. As shared in the announcement, St. Nicholas O'Fallon will draw the winners for Lottery Tickets every week.
It extended gratitude to everyone helping with the project "The Kneel Appeal."
Another event this September at St. Nicholas O'Fallon is the Speaker Series. The church invited everyone to its Activity Center on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m.
As announced on Facebook, the evening reflection will be based on the book Gifts from Friends We've Yet to Meet. Virginia Herbers is the book's author. The book is a biblical memoir that looks back at eight Gospel characters' stories.
The characters were nameless but played important roles in the life and ministry of Christ. Women in Conversation conducted its fourth session on Thursday, Sept. 15.
According to a recent post on Facebook, all ladies who registered and have been attending the sessions should check their email for links to the supplemental guides and a short survey.
Women in Conversation is currently diving into the Story of Ruth: Twelve Moments in Every Woman's Life.
