The Crossing Church STL recruits new Part-Time Class Administrator this 2022

The Crossing Church of St. Louis is recruiting a new part-time class administrator in their Chesterfield Campus for this year 2022. 

Chesterfield’s Class Administrator

According to the official website of The Crossing, Chesterfield Class Administrator is a 32-hour a week part-time job with benefits. This position acts as the class administrator for several of our adult programs and offers extra administrative support at Chesterfield as required. 

The ideal applicant, as per the same website is passionate about Christ, can communicate the goal of this ministry, cares deeply about relationships, and is dedicated to delivering spiritual health to the church. Some evenings, as well as weekends, will be necessary.

It is also mentioned on the same website that the class administrator is responsible for keeping all correspondence with participants up to date before and during lessons. Completing event registrations and coordinating with other event teams. Keeping track of class registrations.

As per the same website, it is also stated that they are in-charge in reserving rooms for seminars and activities and be in charge of preparing, setting up, and cleaning up required items. As required, successful applicants will also coordinate with the bookshop for class supplies. 

Budgeting management for assigned classes and events. Working with the class administration staff across all ministries and campuses to provide assistance as required. As needed, make any adjustments to the church database.

In line with that, they are also responsible for assisting students with class and event registration. Volunteers should be recruited, trained, and entrusted to serve on the administrative class team. Assisting with the annual baptism celebration and any other special initiatives that arise. As needed, they are also responsible for doing other administrative responsibilities.

According to the same website, here are the following qualifications to be considered a successful applicant:

  • A high school diploma, a General Education Degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required,
  • Work experience in an administrative capacity,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities,
  • Capability to preserve secrecy and conduct delicate talks,
  • Intermediate MAC and PC operating abilities, with a focus on Microsoft Office Suite and database systems, are required,
  • Time management guru,
  • When challenges develop, the ability to address them and create innovative solutions is required,
  • Administratively savvy and detail-oriented,
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities, as well as
  • Excellent work attitude - punctual and dependable.
