The Journey Chruch of St. Louis is still inviting engaged and newly married couples to join their ongoing Mr. and Mrs. program for this Spring 2022.

The Journey’s Mr. and Mrs.

As specified on the official website of The Journey under the specific section for the Mr. and Mrs. program, Mr. and Mrs. is a program and mentorship program for newly engaged or married couples. It is four weeks towards a great marriage that can be achieved within the four group classes of this program. 

In line with that, it is also mentioned that couples will be partnered with a mentor couple who will walk with them through the program.

Referring to the same section of their website, the church believes that marriage is a significant connection that we think expresses God's unconditional love for people, and it is intended to be a life-long covenant commitment between one man and one woman. 

As per the same page, the church wishes to assist couples in preparing for a successful marriage with God at the center of their relationship. 

Consistent with the same section of their website, the Spring 2022 class dates are now posted. Their Spring Class started on Feb. 12, and the next class will be on Feb. 26. In line with that, the next classes would be on March 12 and March 26.

The Journey

On the official home page of the official website of The Journey, they have mentioned that they are one family with one vision who has many churches all over the city of St. Louis. 

As mentioned in the church’s story on their official website, the mountains and valleys over the last two decades have reminded the church of God's faithfulness in the midst of their shortcomings and mistakes.

In accordance with that, the church has stated that their story began as a small group of people in a South City basement has grown into a family of many churches across the St. Louis region that is seeking to build a diverse community centered on Jesus Christ.

On the same site, it is also mentioned that their goal is to wholly enjoy his grace, faithfully embodying his love for one another, and boldly engage their culture with His truth, from their neighborhoods to the nations. 

As a church that is focused on the grace of Jesus Christ, the church believes that Jesus is at the center of it all, and the church would want everyone to get to know Him more.

Jesus is Center of it All

According to the section of their website entirely made for people to know more about Jesus, Jesus blended conviction with compassion in such a unique and profound way that his very presence elicited a reaction from everyone who came into contact with him.

In the same section, it is mentioned that Jesus wants His people to see such love in the gospel, the Bible, and his disciples. He wants people to see and know who He truly is. To know Him not as a stranger or an enemy, not just as a subject, but as a friend. 

It is also mentioned that the church believes that Jesus desires people to seek him, even if it means clutching in the dark, pursuing Him with all their heart, or whatever little they have. People will realize that, as much as they were looking for him, He was always looking for them.
