The Rock Church of St. Louis is inviting the members of their church who are in Grades 6-12 for their upcoming DNOW weekend event this Feb. 18-19, 2022.

DNOW 2022

According to The Rock Church's official website, the event will be a weekend of worship, Bible studies, and discipleship with Sonny Barrett, along with the youth ministry of  FBC Litchfield and The Rock Church’s South County Campus.

Based on the same website, students in grades 6 through 12 are encouraged to join this event at the High Hill Christian Retreat Center to experience a fun-filled weekend with other youths of the church. All meals and activities are included in the $75 fee per student.

It is mentioned on the DNOW form available on their official website that the major objective is for the kids throughout the weekend to be able to create an environment where they may grow closer to God and build confidence in expressing their faith with others.

As stated on the same website, there will be a ‘no cellphone’ rule to aid the staff in establishing this atmosphere. If a cell phone is discovered, it will be seized until the event is completed. Youth will be able to contact home whenever they want using a leader's phone.

Also mentioned on the same form is that in case of emergencies, all parents will be given the names of the camp leaders as well as the camp phone numbers.

More information from the same form stated that the event will be consist of morning and night worship services; breakout sessions with their allocated small groups; breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack times; and free time with designated leaders at particular activities.

Those parents who would want their child to join this event can fill out the form available on the same website and send it to the personnel in charge of the event via email

The Rock Church

On The Rock’s Church's official Facebook page, it is stated that they are a multi-ethnic, multi-generational, and multi-site church. Brentwood, Soulard, Lemay, Ballwin, and the Japanese Church in Brentwood are among the campuses.

According to the same website, their fellowship's core focus is on their shared and common objective of assisting others in becoming disciples of Jesus Christ.

The church also believes that Christ-followers are people who cultivate three essential connections in their lives: a meaningful relationship with God, a relationship with and understanding of others, and a relationship with themselves, according to their official website.

On the same website it is also mentioned that the church also believes that through engaging in a variety of events and activities, individuals may aid and support God's people.

As stated by the Church’s Lead Pastor, Dr. Timothy Cowin, The church’s vision is to become a church that will allow people to experience the amazing presence and undeniable power of God, and not just the religion itself.
