Bloodlines: The Scarlet Thread of Redemption

As shared on its website, the Trinity Church announced a Christmas concert as the start of its Advent Series. Bloodlines: The Scarlet Thread of Redemption will be a great culmination for the series on the genealogy of Jesus.

The Trinity Church encourages its people to invite friends and neighbors for this special evening of entertainment – music and drama.

According to the church, doors will open at 6:00 in the evening and the concert starts at 6:30. There will be a cookie reception, after the Bloodlines: The Scarlet Thread of Redemption.

About Trinity Church Kirkwood

“For what we proclaim is not ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.” — 2 Corinthians 4:5

According to its Facebook page, the church location is 1110 Glenwood Ln, Kirkwood, Mo 63122.  It identifies itself as a faith community that exists to exalt the Lord’s name, establish His people, equip His church, and engage God’s world in the power of the Holy Spirit and for the sake of Jesus Christ the Risen King.

It is a member of the congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).

Trinity Church had its beginnings in 2006. As shared on its website, it started with a small group who wanted to establish a church that would be true to the Bible, culturally relevant, and rooted in the long-standing Christian tradition.

Most importantly, it is founded from the desire to be an intergenerational community that loves its neighbors, as a “not for ourselves” congregation (2 Corinthians 4:5)

In 2010, the church found its current location. From here the Trinity Church in Kirkwood grew to what it is today.

Rev. Chris Polski – Lead Pastor

The reverend came to Trinity in 2007 after his work as the Senior Pastor of Golden Isles Presbyterian Church on St. Simons Island in Georgia.  He earned a Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary. At present, he is taking up his Doctor of Ministry Degree.

He and his wife Katie are blessed with three children.

Small Groups at Trinity

8 Above all, love each other deeply because love covers over a multitude of sins. 9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. - 1 Peter 4:8-10

As stated on the webpage, the purpose of a small group is to have a place where individuals purposefully engage in fellowship and accept that all need each other.

The groups’ sign-ups happen in the Fall, but all small groups are open to new people at any time. Each group appears a little different from each other.

Nonetheless, all focus on the community, study, and prayer. Trinity Church’s small groups include:
