High School Pastor position

Based on the job’s full description available on their official website, this will be a full-time position under the Family Ministry Department of the Church. The purpose of the position is to lead, guide, develop, and build the White Flag Christian High School Ministry in order to achieve White Flag Christian's mission which is to transform the lives of people by connecting them to Jesus, His words, and the community.
According to the same file, the chosen high school pastor will be given these essential responsibilities:
- Assist parents in their children's spiritual growth. Parents should be encouraged, prayed for, met with, counseled, and available.
- Team and Individual Development. Through continual training and teamwork, develop a strong team of leaders to invest in the lives of kids. Recruit, train, equip, and promote competent and spiritually mature high school leaders.
- Students should be taught God's Word in a sound manner. Prepare and present weekly sermons that are both current and interesting. Choose and oversee the implementation of curriculum and resources for small groups. Investigate and assess teaching methods.
- To link students with the community, create enjoyable and engaging settings. Camps, retreats, conferences, outreach events, and small group gatherings are all examples of small group gatherings.
- A member of the White Flag team. Assist with all church celebrations (Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and so on). Attending all staff meetings, Family Ministry team meetings, weekly prayer sessions, and other meetings as needed.
Based on the same file, applicants must obtain a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Applicants must also have a strong knowledge of the Bible and the ability to communicate effectively.
