Volunteers from the church will engage in Stream Clean.

Stream Clean

According to the church's Facebook post, the group will clean both sides of the river. White Flag Church encourages members to participate in serving the community.

The church needs 20 volunteers for the Stream Clean event, who will ride canoes to access both sides of the river. Other volunteers will need to walk along the bank.

They will clean up trash; volunteers must be at least eight years old. However, kids under 17 must have a parent with them.

The group from White Flag Church will meet at 8 a.m. at Flamm City River access.

It also provided some reminders for volunteers before the Stream Clean. All are told to wear old tennis shoes, wading shoes, or boots.

The church also suggested that participants wear a wide-brim hat and moisture-wicking clothes. White Flag Church also suggested that volunteers apply sunblock and wear glasses to protect their eyes. Additionally, wearing flip-flops, open-toed shoes, and short skirts is not allowed.

Lastly, volunteers need to bring water and a high-protein snack. According to Flamm City's Facebook page, Flamm City is an old town on Telegraph Road near the Meramec River. Later, the place became part of the city of Arnold, MO.

Meanwhile, as stated on the City of Arnold's website, this place within the city is a cluster of several public areas. It covers 36 acres located at Telegraph Road and Meramec River.
