The Women's Ministry at Greentree Community Church is organizing events for women this June. These events are the avenue for women to grow in faith, connect, and learn with other women.
Women's Summer Social
As shared on its website, Greentree Community Church is hosting a summer social for all women at church through its Women's Teaching Ministry. The Women's Summer Social will be on June 29 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
The venue for this gathering is the home of Diana Rohlfing at 841 Stable Ridge Lane, Kirkwood. Greentree Community Church will provide desserts. The church hopes to see all Greentree ladies in the Women's Summer Social.
Summer Study for Women, Sacred Rhythms
As per its website, the Women's Ministry of Greentree Community Church hosts Summer Study, Sacred Scriptures. The groups will meet at Greentree on Thursday mornings at 9:30 and Thursday evenings at 7 p.m.
The first date for this gathering was May 19. According to its announcement, every week, the Summer Study for Women, Sacred Rhythms, will focus on a different ill whenever possible.
As stated on the website, spiritual disciplines lead all to the Lord's transforming love and the changes only that He can provide in one's life. This summer, the ladies at Greentree Community Church will learn the seven critical disciplines with practical ideas for applying them in their daily lives.
Summer Study for Women, Sacred Rhythms will run for nine weeks. This nine-week study by Ruth Haley Barton will empower ladies to prepare their lives for spiritual transformation by a living and dynamic relationship with the Lord.
According to Greentree Community Church, the Women's Teaching Ministry is an excellent way to connect with an intentionally small group of ladies while getting into God's Word. It welcomes all ladies, whether one is new to Bible study or has been studying for years.
Dinner for Eight
As shared on its website, Dinner for Eight is a Community Group at Greentree. This gathering is a casual and fun way to connect with people in this congregation. All are welcome, whether one is new or has been attending Greentree Community Church for years.
Participants will be assigned to a dinner group and attend a casual potluck meal in the host's home. Each Dinner for Eight group gathers once a month, every three months.
Fellowship occurs, and friendship is built spontaneously at the Dinner for Eight tables.
