On Tuesday, Nov. 9, Drake put out a message on his official Instagram page. With a black background and white text, he expressed how his heart was broken over what happened.

Although he did not apologize to the families of the deceased victims, the rapper said that he would pray for all of them. Drake also added that he would 'be of service' in any way he could to help the families and other injured victims from the concert.

He then concluded his post by saying, "May God be with you all." So far, the post already has more than 900,000 likes from Instagram.

Performers to Face Charges

In the latest report from Crossmap, it was said that Drake could face charges due to the recent concert event.

As mentioned, the rapper joined the main performer in the Astroworld Fest, Travis Scott, on the day of the incident.

According to the NBC New York report, only a single plaintiff named Drake in the complaints. Kristian Paredes, 23, is the complainant on that case.

Aside from Drake, he also pointed out that Travis, Live Nation, and Harris County Sports & Convention Corporation should be held accountable.

Paredes said in the complaint that Drake and Travis' incited the crowd' to become chaotic. As per the plaintiff, the crowd started to push towards the stage when both singers were performing.

He also claimed that the Live Nation security guards ignored the attendees seeking help to stop the show. As reported, more than $1 million is what Paredes is currently hoping to get from the case.

As per Crossmap, Paredes is not the only one who filed complaints against Scott or Live Nation. Harris County native Patrick Stennis also supported Paredes' claims and said that he was also "trampled, crushed and lost consciousness during the incident."

Travis Scott, Astroworld Fest Statements

Before Drake's letter, Scott and Astroworld Fest had already published their official statements about the matter.

On his Twitter page, Scott noted that he would be in touch with the authorities for the case investigation. He also said that he was devastated after what happened.

Meanwhile, Astroworld Fest shared the same sympathy and reiterated that they would also support the investigation.

It added, "As authorities mentioned in their press conference earlier. They are looking into the series of cardiac arrests that took place. If you have any relevant information on this, please reach out to @HoustonPolice."
