Community Christian Church partners with UrbanReachSTL to help the community. On July 13, at 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., volunteers from this church will help feed this organization's clients.
From Garden to Table
Community Christian Church works with UrbanReachSTL for a series of serving opportunities in preparing and serving meals to those in need. As announced on the church's website, this summer and fall, the church will have a chance to provide meals for children, youth, and family members served by UrbanReachSTL.
The meal will include fresh food from the church's garden. Serving dates in UrbanReachSTL downtown St. Louis include July 13, August 10, September 7, and October 5.
The Community Christian Church requests those interested in serving to contact the church office.
According to its Facebook page, Community Christian Church harvested collard greens, hakurei turnips, green beans, and kohlrabi from its garden. The church extended its gratitude to kids – Tres and Tyson, who helped them in the garden.
The garden ministry at Community Christian Church meets every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

This organization partners with St. Louis Public School, Patrick Henry Downtown Academy Dance Team, and local and out-of-town mission teams to serve its clients and the community.
