The Gathering’s ThirdPlace Social Ministry will hold its Armory Meetup on Friday, March 24.

The church’s website encouraged its members to join the competition in badminton, four squares, giant tennis, mini golf, ping pong, and a giant slide. They emphasized that this program is an excellent opportunity to be part of the community.

Besides, they noted that it is a way to see God’s work in their church. The Gathering Church encouraged its congregation to bring new people to discover grace and love as the purpose of the church.

ThirdPlace Ministry

In another section, The Gathering explained that ThirdPlace is a faith community for those who believe in Jesus and those still wandering. Also, they said that it is a place for those with many questions in mind.

Moreover, they mentioned that ThirdPlace is a venue for young people managing life’s “third space.” These are university students who recently completed their tertiary level and starting new careers.

In addition, it is a palace for those trying to discover themselves as they start their families or even those single and newly independent.

More importantly, the ThirdPlace Ministry believes that creating connections through having a community is where they could establish groups. They explained they had made CoreGroups and gathered in different “ThirdPlace” throughout the week.

During their group meeting, they could reflect on their spiritual development and strengthen their connections, as noted on the website.

ThirdPlace Socials

The ThirdPlace section emphasized that they love good social events. The young adults hang out for monthly gatherings, as the website notes. They said they bond through game nights at Pieces Board Game Restaurant and Cafe.

Also, these young adults enjoy having meals and coffee at The City Foundry. The website pointed out that they love to make informal opportunities for them to connect.

Faith Conversations

The website states that ThirdPlace conducts faith discussions from breweries to coffee shops. They explained that they do not host conversations in church facilities, at work, or home.

As further stated, they are trying to change from the traditional spaces by discussing spirituality on neutral grounds. They added that they wanted to be as complete and genuine as possible.

PopUp Worship

According to the same section, the church stated its principle that the church could be “different.” They revealed that this desire continues to develop, and they are constantly embracing new individuals to serve and worship Jesus Christ in their city and outside their walls.

As pointed out on its website, the church works hard to be a church for everyone.

They said they intentionally partner with the LGBTQ+ community to reach out in literacy and structure. This way could help them accepts doubts and questions that sometimes hinder them from living out their commitment to being Jesus’ followers.

Health Benefits of Sports to Young Adults

The Aspen Project Play website pointed out that sports involvement for young adults could help them build and maintain healthy bones, muscles, and joints. They added that it could help them manage their weight and lessen fat.

Moreover, sports participation could lessen or delay the development of high blood pressure, as the website explains.

They emphasized that sports or exercise is one of the least expensive methods of getting healthy.
