Third Baptist Church will celebrate its 172nd anniversary on Sunday, Feb. 12.
The church’s Facebook page announced that the Sowel Family would entertain the congregation. They posted that they are an all-sibling band from Knoxville, Tennessee. They are a faith-based band.

The church website revealed that the Third Baptist Church is a well-known institution in Grand Center, arts, entertainment, and education district. They are the shelter of cultural groups and are surrounded by neighbors from university and public housing projects.
In addition, they noted that they serve their neighborhood and region and desire to minister worldwide. They explained that the church comprises a diverse congregation of various ages, races, nationalities, and socio-economic statuses.
Third Baptist Church emphasized that they have a unique personality. They added that they are not readily classified.
